FAQ

Questions people ask before they list.

Is this a real brokerage?

Yes. Connect Realty of The Carolinas is a licensed real estate brokerage (NC firm license C26154), with Sheri Gregory as broker-in-charge. Your listing is entered in the MLS under the brokerage, exactly like a full-commission listing.

Which MLS will my property be in?

The one that covers your county. We list in North Carolina and South Carolina; type your address and the property page names the MLS before you sign up.

What do I pay at closing?

On the Standard and Full packages, 0.5% of the sale price (minimum $750), paid from the proceeds only if the home sells. Investor plans pay nothing at closing.

Do I have to offer a buyer-agent commission?

No. Buyer-agent compensation, if you choose to offer any, is set by you and paid at closing. Many sellers offer something to attract agents; it is your call.

Who handles showings and offers?

Showing requests come through ShowingTime and buyer inquiries are forwarded to you by email. Offers come to you; on the Full package our broker walks through them with you and a coordinator runs contract-to-close.

How fast will it be live?

Within 24-48 hours of approval and signed documents, on business days.

Can I cancel?

Yes, anytime and for any reason. Listings under contract cannot be cancelled. See the refund policy for what is returned.

How many photos can I upload?

As many as your MLS allows. Professional photos are included in Full and available as an add-on otherwise.

How do investor plans work?

One payment for the year buys up to 5, 10 or 20 listing credits. Credits are good for 12 months, we remind you before they expire, and using your last credit lets you move up a tier for the difference.

I'm a builder with several homes. Which option?

A plan sized to your release schedule, or a custom quote for a community. Each home is its own listing with its own paperwork, entered as it comes to market.
